This week I have been searching for one of my baby bibles, the Tracey Hogg Baby Whisperer book. It was not on the shelf and I could see a gap, and damn it, I wanted to read it again so I was all Tracey Hogged for Pickle bump.
Had I loaned it to someone? I started texting mates. No.
I started doubting them- they've nicked it, it's such a good book they want my copy.
A day went by.
I found it.
On the shelf above.
Whoops.
When I was pregnant I put the Sky remote through the washing machine. Remarkably it still works!

ReplyDeletepregnancy brain is so funny. My best friend didnt believe the cause of my sudden blondeness was the little baby growing inside me. She is know pregnant herself and didnt see her error when looking for ear DEFENDERS to play music to her bump!

ReplyDeleteLOL!! It doesnt get any better postnatal, i'm seven weeks postnatal now and I couldnt remember my own aunts name yesterday ffs! I'ven also called my sister in law Nicole....thats her daughters name. I was so embarressed! Ho hum....where am I again?
ReplyDeleteTell me about it, I was bad enough during pregnancy with Monty, 2nd time round, jeez, yesterday I put the butter away in the cupboard, and the tupperware away inthe fridge. FACT.

Oh, the shame. When pregnant with baby two, I walked around for about five minutes in a panic because I couldn't find baby one. He was, er, on my hip. He was even blubbing slightly, so pregnancy clearly affects your hearing too...
